2011 the artist Margret Kohler-Heilingsetzer extended her work in progress-project of ship/boatinstallations and graphic series about boatpeople. She became interested in big cruizers “giants” of the ocean up to 8000 passengers. These “entertainment temples” are moving on Sea, destinies are becoming of less importance. The sinking of the cruizer Costa Concordia in Italy 2012 happened exactly hundered years after the most documented and comercialized sinking of the Titanic. The artist visited the shipwreck of the CC 2012 in Italy. The photographs are the basis of the new graphic series – symmetrical prints – “holidreams”.
